Thomas E. Motyka

Thomas Motyka leads the Smart City iLab at the New Jersey Innovation Institute, which is focused on applying technology and innovation in urban infrastructure and public services. He comes to this role with more than 28 years of experience in the information technology industry, most recently as the global director of mobility sales at the IBM Corporation. His career also includes roles in engineering, development, product management and sales. He supported enterprise clients across multiple industries including communications, while he was with AT&T and Verizon; utilities while at HL&P and Keyspan; and finance at Deutsche Bank and Bank of America.
